Manual ID review
Anyone who cannot or will not scan their face can send a photo of their ID for a person to check instead.
For the candidate
Send your ID for a person to check is offered at the start of every check. The candidate agrees to a separate notice, then uploads a JPEG, PNG, WebP or PDF up to 10 MB. Their verdict shows Needs review until someone decides; choosing it is not a fraud signal.
It goes to the employer whose link they used, or the one they applied to most recently, and they can choose to send it to their other employers too.
For the reviewer
The ID appears in the review queue. It opens through a link that lasts two minutes and is never stored anywhere a browser can reach directly. Decide with It matches or It doesn't match.
Approving a manual upload verifies the candidate at your organisation only. Approving an ID photo sent after a device match, at an employer Elsin has approved, verifies them everywhere on Elsin.
Deletion
The file is deleted as soon as a reviewer decides. One that nobody reviews is deleted within 30 days.
