Verdicts
Each candidate carries one of five verdicts, with the reasons behind it one click away.
- Verified
- A person confirmed this candidate's ID at an employer Elsin has approved, and the check has not expired. Or your own team approved their ID document.
- Checked on device
- The candidate's own device matched their face to an ID that was read, and no person has confirmed it yet.
- Low risk
- Not verified, with an apply score under 25.
- Unverified
- Everything else below your review threshold.
- Needs review
- A hard signal, a later check that flags, or, for anyone not verified, a score at or above your threshold.
The assessment
Opening a verdict shows one short line, then the one to three reasons that decided it, then each category folded to a line: identity, network, device, form, profile, employment and continuity. Checks that passed are listed too, so a clean candidate shows why they are clean.
In your ATS
With an ATS connected, the verdict is written back as a tag and a note on the candidate. See Greenhouse and Ashby.
